This week in the pm-clinic discussion forum: Topic #53 - The fate of acquired teams.
Dear pm-clinic,
Your assignment, should you choose to accept it, is to assess a new project & team. Your job is to provide input on whether the team should be funded or should be killed, and it’s resources assigned elsewhere. What questions do you ask? What are your metrics? How much time would you need? How would you want to report your results? (As one specific example, imagine a project team that was acquired through acquisition).
