Update: In NYC this week. Hope you can make it out to one of these gigs.
The schedule is still coming together, but here’s what I have so far:
Boston, 11/1 thru 11/6
NYC, 11/17-11/20
Web, free webcast
SF/ Bay Area
Portland
Seattle
Want the tour to hit your company or organization?
If you have a venue or know of one, leave a comment or contact me. All talks are free, and I give priority to the places likely to get me the biggest crowds, preferably crowds of people who like to buy books :) Please forward this on to folks you know who might fit the bill.
UMass Boston, Heally Library, 11th FL
One other suggestion: Get in touch with Toastmasters. That’s a big, well-established, national organization of people interested in public speaking, and they have regional offices and local clubs all over the place.
So when are you coming to the UK?
I love the UK, but no current plans to visit soon. I’ll def post on the blog if that changes.
Book Passage book store either in S.F. or marin. I am a paid speaker + former WSJ reporter and enjoyed your book and would help draw a crowd here in the Bay Area
Hey Scott –
Can I interest you in adding Zappos.com & Las Vegas to your gig list at all?
Looking fwd to hearing from you.
Cheers!
Two more days in NYC…if you have a new booking, I hope you’ll be sure to post it here.
Scott
Thanks for the ‘people’ talk at Web 2.0 NY
Mentioned your book and your thoughts in my Monday Work Etiquette today in Confessions, Failures and Presentations That Are Not Canned on ‘Serge the Concierge’

For a Seattle venue, I recommend doing an Amazon “fishbowl”–basically a book promotion talk given to Amazon employees. I think you can reach them at fishbowl@amazon.com; if that doesn’t work, I know some folks inside Amazon who could get through.
